I think the kingdom of God is in our minds when we spiritualy believe the presence of God in our lives and it is the state of perceiving the rightness and kindness of God and that is why  Jesus is  telling us that he brings good news that he can take us to the  state of  happiness and goodness.

Biblical definition of love: 1 Corithians
Love is patient and kind; love is not jealous or boastful; it is not arrogant or rude. Love does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrong, but rejoices in the right. Love bears all things; believes all things; hopes all things; endures all things.

I think when Jesus told God loves us  he meant God wants us to live a good life to love each other ,to believe him and Jesus for our goodness ,he don't like to see us suffering but only to be happy in a good way .

Compassion is an understanding of the emotional state of another. Not to be confused with empathy, compassion is often combined with a desire to alleviate or reduce the suffering of another or to show special kindness to those who suffer. However, compassion may lead an individual to feel empathy with another person.

Compassion is often characterized through actions, wherein a person acting with compassion will seek to aid those they feel compassionate for. Acts of compassion are generally considered those which take into account the pain of others and attempt to alleviate that pain. In this sense, the various forms of the Golden Rule are in part based on the concept of compassion, if also on the concept of empathy.

Compassion differs from other forms of helpful or humane behavior in that its focus is primarily on the alleviation of pain and suffering. Acts of kindness which seek primarily to confer benefit rather than relieve existing pain and suffering useen as a subset of altruism, it being defined as the type of behavior which seeks to benefit others by reducing their suffering.
