January 04, 2008 What caused Nathanael to see Jesus as the Son of God and King of Israel?
Nathanael saw Jesus as the Son of God because of the unseen things Jesus revealed to him. He told him he was under a fig tree before Philip called him, thus showing Philip that he knows all things. He also revealed what Philip will see in the future which only God can reveal to us.
