Why does Jesus call "Love One Another" a "New" commandment?
God created man so He could lavish His unconditional love upon Him.It would then be a reasonable expectation that man must in return spread this love around.

How does being forgiven increase ones love for God? Note: According to Jesus, God`s forgiveness is motivated by love.
People are generally unforgiving and often ready to use our past mistakes against us at the drop of a hat.God's willingness to rise above our countless transgressions shows just how big His heart is and one cannot help but love Him back.

What is the Kingdom of God?
The Kingdom of God is a somewhat elusive concept that defies explanation  even by seasoned believers as it requires a thorough understanding of God's Word and precepts. At the risk of oversimplifying, I would say it is " God's way of doing things"

"According to Jesus, what does it mean to be loved by God?"
God loves us unconditionally, without any reservation. The reason why He created us is not because He was lonely(since He is three-in-one, there is no way He could ever be!) but He needed an object upon which He could lavish His love, hence we were created.

Does Jesus believe lowly people are valuable? How valuable?

Jesus, the paragon of humility, considers lowly people to be of immense value in the kingdom. As Christians, particularly in the so-called charismatic movement, we have created celebrities in the body of Christ by "worshipping" people of high standing. Jesus on the other hand mingled with simple, obscure people that were often shunned by society. This clearly indicates where God's focus lies and I believe that we should follow suit.
