To be a Christian is to have an intimate relationship with the Lord. And intimate means that we understand what Jesus wants us to do with our lives. That we follow the life He led here on earth. He is the example for all of us to emulate. We will definitely find it very, very difficult to live exactly the way Jesus lived in this world in terms of avoiding sin but that I think should be our objective. Perfection is impossible in this world but that should be our ultimate goal.

Blog of Renato Mercado At the moment I have a problem with my staff or perhaps with myself. I started bible srudies in September 2006 in my small restaurant which operates 24/7. We did it every Monday at 7:00 in the morning. But sometime in November 2007 I stopped it because most of my staff seldom attend worship sevices and a few did not even try. Most come to the bible studies late. I finally felt so disappointed that I stopped it. Would Jesus find me with so little faith that I gave up on my staff" Jesus as a man on this earth loved unconditionally - poor, sinners,sick people, tax collectors. He showed us that discrimination does not have a room in this world. As our Lord and Saviour, Jesus suffered and died to save us from sin. It is now up to us to accept that grace and live a life according to how Jesus lived on earth. |
