Why does Jesus have to tell us to love one another? Do people not see that how you treat people in return determines how you feel about yourself.

Why does Jesus call "Love One Another" a "New" commandment?
Because this commandment came from Jesus. It was after his other teachings that he came to his disciples with new teachings.

The hardest times in my life were when I didn't have Jesus close to me. When I look back the times that I felt lonely and empty inside were the times I didn't ask for Jesus to be by my side. In the last couple of years I ask him to be with me even in the simplest of times and I have never felt lonely again. Never again will I try to live my life without Jesus right by my side. My heart is now complete.

How does being forgiven increase ones love for God? Note: According to Jesus, God`s forgiveness is motivated by love.
Once you ask for forgiveness and you receive forgiveness you will begin to realize that God truly does have unconditional love for us. He is willing to forgive us all we have to do is believe in him and to love him in return. I think that  the more people realize he does really love them and is willing to forgive us for our sins the more we begin to realize how much we love and cherish him in return and don't want to continue to disappoint him.

The kingdom of God is among us it is us believing in God and Jesus and living our lives to God's standards and teaching his word.
