Jesus was/is the number one most important figure in humanity, is the Son of God and delivered the message of compassion to his brothers and sisters, for humanity.

Giving them hope, faith and the Holy Spirit and freeing their minds/souls from the spinning world.  I would like to say that he was the greatest teacher of all.  

His message to the world was that he was not God but God was speaking through him (Holy Spirit).
