January 29, 2008 How does being forgiven increase ones love for God?If we are being forgiven it increases our love for God because we will have peace and His light will shine upon us. The earth was created for man; man was created for fellowship with God, and God is eternal. An "age" of sin and rebellion has interrupted the purpose of God, but that has not changed God's intention to have fellowship with man forever. The coming of the word into the life of man, the death of Christ on the cross for our sins, and the resurrection of the Lord from the grave for our salvation has altogether provided for the saving of all those men who through faith come to God in Christ. If God did not love us, He would not have given His only Son Jesus Christ to come and die for our sins. The dwelling place of God is with men, and he will live with us. We will be his people, and God himself will be with us and be our God. |

January 18, 2008 Does Jesus believe lowly people are valuable? How valuable?Yes, He believes lowly people are valuable, because they speak and give from the abundance of their heart, they are not hypocritical in their dealings with people, they accept and believe in our Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus said that whoever receives the little children in His Name receives him because they are without sin, the less recognized in our nation today are those that are lowly to Jesus because He recognizes them, He also does not look on the appearance of people but the heart. He values those that are humble not only to Him but to their neighbours because God created us in His own image, whatever measure we give to Him that He will give to us. Jesus said blessed are the poor in spirit for theirs the kingdom of heaven. |
