January 15, 2008 "According to Jesus, what does it mean to be loved by God?"
To be loved by God is to have eternal life - as it is said in John14:23 ".....and My Father will love him, and We will come to him, and make Our abode with him"According to Jesus if we love God and God loves us we shall have eternal life.What a great gift and all you have to do is love God!

January 15, 2008 Does Jesus believe lowly people are valuable? How valuable?
Jesus values everyone.If "lowly" means those who don't know Him then even more so will He spend time with them.They shouldn't be deprived of the knowledge of who and what God is.We as Christians should talk to others reach out to those that are uninformed.

January 15, 2008 Define "Compassion"?
Compassion to me is when you can FEEL the pain others have. To have sympathy as well as empathy with other people's pain or problems.One who is compassionate can actually SEE and be considerate of other peoples pain.
