Why did Jesus´ penalty for "sin" need to include physical and emotional pain - why not just spiritual separation from God?

Jesus the son of God has pay the penalty for my sin. I am only human and i think that's why Jesus suffer the physical and emotional pain.

God's is love,that is why Jesus came to this world to fine me, which was lost in sin that He die on the cross to take my place, thank you JESUS.
