February 05, 2008 How does Jesus link intimacy to him with obedience to him?" a "New" commandment? It is natural for a person who loves another not to cheat on another or do anything which would hurt the loved one. Similarly if we are intimate with Jesus we will try our best not to hurt Him through our words or deeds. Jesus asks us to Love Him in a way similar to the reverence we show a loved one. |

February 05, 2008 If you had a one-on-one meal with Jesus, what would you discuss?I will ask Him to forgive me for my sins. I will thank Him for being; - merciful to a sinner such as me - kind to this world by showing mercy to everyone living I would express my love to Him for showing us through His life and teachings the way to eternal life and happiness. Ask Him for a place in heaven for me Love you Lord Jesus with all my heart. Thank you for being there for this sinner. |

February 01, 2008 Why does Jesus call "Love One Another" a "New" commandment? The Old Testament talks about ‘Eye for an Eye’, but with Jesus Christ's death on the cross and subsequent resurrection, God has demonstrated His supreme love for the world by sacrificing His son for our redemption. The Lord has loved us since the day He created Adam, but we are the one who moved away from his love. Jesus commandment to ‘Love one another’ should be seen in the context of the Lord, sending Jesus to die for our sins. God wants us to follow his example and love one another as He has loved both the righteous and the wicked among us. If seen in this background it is a 'new' commandment. |

January 28, 2008 What is the Kingdom of God?The Kingdom of God is a metaphor which refers to all that is done in the name of God and pleasing to God. If each of us begin to live the life envisaged by Jesus Christ, Prophets and Saints as written in the Bible we will be ushering in the Kingdom of God on earth. Each good deed and act done with God the father, Jesus Christ the Son of God and Holy Spirit as the driving force will user in the Kingdom of God among us. |
