January 12, 2008 What did you learn about Jesus` background that stands out or surprises you?
I am surprised that the Roman Empire was as liberal as it was, also at the similarity between the Jewish Council and most Western political systems today: the'Peoples' party of Pharisees, the Higher Classes of Saducees. And as opposed as they were said to be, they joined forces to try to get rid of Jesus and His followers. And with their enemies, the Romans. Much like Governments today.

January 09, 2008 What i know of Jesus
What i know of Jesus, today, yesterday and forever: Everything He said came true and will continue to. To ignore His teaching is to be as blind and deaf and hard - hearted as those He spoke of by Isaiah, see Mt 13: 11 - 16. Jesus said clearly that He was not only the Messiah who was expected, but God Himself, see Mt 22: 41 - 45. God loves us so much that He Himself put our sins to Death. HALLELUJA
