No, Jesus was not trying to incite his death his own death.

He was the word made flesh and lived among us.He just came to fufill the words of the prophets of old.

How does being forgiven increase ones love for God? Note: According to Jesus, God`s forgiveness is motivated by love.
Once your sins are forgiven, you will feel like a heavy burden have been lifted from you.You don,t have any choice than to love the "person" who forgave you your sins and promised that He will remember them no more.

"According to Jesus, what does it mean to be loved by God?"
To be loved by God means that even when we disobey him,he always call us to repentance and remembers our sins no more.He has promised that He will never leave or forsake us IF ONLY WE TRUST & OBEY HIS COMMANDMENTS.

Define "Compassion"?
Compassion is being able to go out of your way to help somebody.It doesn't necessarily mean giving money,food,material things.It goes beyond that.It involves encouraging those who are downcast,giving advise,praying and interceding on behalf of people.

God is Love
God is love.His love for us made him to send his only begotten Son to save us from our sins.His love for us is sacrificial,universal and immesurable.He also wants us to love others the same way(unconditionaly).Through the love we have for one another we can lead unbelievers' to his kingdom.He said if I will be lifted up that He will draw all men unto himself.So share that God's love today.
