being intimate with obedience with Jesus as a "New" commandment is submitting yourself to Him as a whole. One way of showing this is by simply following His commandments to lead a righteous life in that way Jesus will disclose Himself to you as a start of your intimate relationship

If you had a one-on-one meal with Jesus, what would you discuss?
If given a chance to have a one-on-one meal with Jesus, I'm gonna ask questions like what are the things that please Him, things that I need to do, my purpose here on earth, how to save souls of others, how to strengthen my faith in Him, and also I wanna hear from Him the stories of His life when He was here on earth not that I don't beleive in the Bible but just wanna listen from Him.

Love One Another -A New Commandment
It is a new commandment because it wasn't in the original lists of ten commandments. The fist commandment we have is to love God w/ all our heart and soul and nothing or nobody except but Him. Second is to love our neighbor as we love ourselves. May it be a new commandment or not, what really God wants us to do is to continue showing our love to others as we love Him. Simply following all His commandments shows our love for Him.

"According to Jesus, what does it mean to be loved by God?"

God's love is pure, true, and unconditional!!! nothing compares the love He has for us!

according to Jesus, if we abide in Him and love Him, we are loved by God because GOD abides in Him!
