According to Jesus, what does it mean to be loved by God?
Anyone who loves Jesus is loved by God. He states quite clearly over and over again that by loving himself ''Christ'' a person loves God and is therefore loved by God.

Does Jesus believe lowly people are valuable? How valuable?
Yes. To Jesus lowly people are more valuable than the kings of the earth. He would rather sit and dine with prostitutes and theives than to have a meeting with Heriod who was king.

Define Compassion?
Compassion is an overwhelming love and understanding for another person. When Christ healed the lame and sick he felt such love for them he wanted to lighten their burden which he did for any who asked. It is a deep understanding of anothers emotion whether good or bad and a need to share in those emotions and alleviate the pain if possible. Ultimately, Compassion is Love. I have heard it said many times, and I agree with it, that Jesus is the epitome of Compassion. It is said that Compassion is what drove him everyday to complete miracles and to finally die for our sins so that we will not suffer. He shares in our joys and our sorrows and the greated gift we can give to him is to respond by sharing our Compassion with others.
