Why does Jesus call "Love One Another" a "New" commandment?
Jesus Christ said in Mathew that.."you shall love your enemies, do good to them and even pray for them..." regardless of the nature of the wrongs they caused you. He calls this a new commandment because, like he said to the desiples that whoever does not love his brother does not love God,all have sinned yet all their sins were forgiven. It is so important to notice that Jesus predicted the future, when we look at todays world everything is mixed up because of lack of love. So our Lord Jesus means that they that are of the heavenly kingdom are renewed therefore loving one another is something new in their lives just as all things pass away so is that hindrance to experiencing and sharing new love as christians and to the lost world. In summery, the bible says that any man who is in Christ is a new creation, that means he is a new house for the Holy spirit dwellings and thus where God moves there is always a new  fountain of love in a new experiance than previously and this is what make loving one another a new commandment.

"According to Jesus, what does it mean to be loved by God?"

According to Jesus, being loved by God means:

1. Abiding by his word that is both rebuking and correcting as well as sustaining.

2. Knowing that all spiritual requests are to God alone since his word says whatever we bind/loose on earth is also bound/loosed in heaven.

3. Accepting Jesus the son as our saviour, redeemer and life giver as the bible says whoever love the son is loved by the father....

In conclussion God 's love for us is so unconditional that he found it worth to pay the prrice by his only son that we may be glorified again as we all had ru short of glory. His love is for us all that all may have the right to be called sons and daughters of the most high.

Does Jesus believe lowly people are valuable? How valuable?
To the understanding that i have as the Holy Spirit lead my heart, lowliness refers to humbleness before the Lord so as to attain uplifting from ones life state. The Bible says in JOHN 1 vs 12 that as many as they recived him he gave them the right to become sons of the most high. So Jesus take our lowliness valuable because at that very moment he is able to show us love, peace, hapiness and joy without measure. Simply the Lord sees mostly those who are lowly (humble enough to declare their cases to him) and do attend them. That is why Thouh he was rich, he was identified with the poor that through his poverty they may be rich as they continue to be and remain with him because in their loyly  stage they were able to listern and learn from him as the Lord of their lives.

May i take this moment to try and answer my friend's question (Daleen Stander). My point of view is that we better choose to die "for" not "with" the truth, just as the word of God has refered to us as perculier people born of an imperishable seed. So we have to put in our minds that we are for good tidings of the Lord and that signs and wonders are bound to follow us. My point is that lets surrender our plans, challenges and everything to God alone so that, as Christ sad, the comforter will be with us at all times to give us knowledge and wisdom from above. I think this way my friend we can be able to show our fellow friends that they are just asking us to help dig their graves. Thanx for such a challenging question.
