February 03, 2008 Why does Jesus call "Love One Another" a "New" commandment?
It is a new commandment - a second one. The foremost commandment says 'You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind'. This was the main fulcrum of the teachings of previous teachers and prophets.
