If JohnJesus did this to fulfill all righteousness according to Matt. 3:15 Jesus was baptized to fulfill all the legal requirements for entering into the priesthood. Remember Jesus came to fulfill the law, not to do away with it. (Matt. 5:17) |

If you were Mark, writing a short report to demonstrate to a Roman audience that Jesus (a Jewish man) was "the Son of God", what would you include in that report?Jesus was credited with many miracles such as healings, exorcisms, even raising the dead. These were eyewitness accounts, told in a public setting. So if it were not so, the community would have said so as a whole. Not only that, but those who told of such things, proclaimed these accounts even in the face of persectution or death. They believed it not out of hear say, but because they saw such things with their own eyes! |
