Jesus was angered by religious people inappropriately taking people`s money (robber`s den). Why did Jesus take such dramatic action and not just condemn with words?

Jesus wants to prove to the people that they are doing wrong. He took dramatic actions because maybe to Him, it was the only way to let the people know He was really angry of making His house of prayer a den of robbers. the people were supposed to gather in the temple to woship God but instead they gathered to make money.

Jesus emphasizes the phrase "in my name" when refering to the miracle and giving a cup of water. What does it mean to do something in Jesus` name?

We always hear people to pray with the  phrase, "in Jesus name" When we say this, we acknowledge that we cannot perform or do things solely by ourselves alone but with God's mercy and will.

We recognize His presence and that all that we have for others are not ours but His. So, it is fitting for us believers and as christians to put God at the center of every small and big thing.

Jesus was commited to sacrifice his own life. What did he mean by the statement, "For who ever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake and the gospel will save it"?

Saving up for life on earth is one of the many duties we ought to do. However, there is the highest purpose that God has given us. That is on fulifilling it to the best that we can, to gloriy Him and that we can dwell in His house of worship.

Most importantly, God wants us to follow Him and carry our cross, and die for His sake. Majority of the people on earth struggle  so hard to find security and contentment and that they worry so much to store up things for themselves. But that is not the real picture. We are here to seek for the Lord and fulfill our purpose to glorify Himand be in union with Him after our life here on earth.

How did the disciples` fear before the storm differ from their fear after the storm?
The disciples fear differ by the kind of faith they have for each circumstance. They don`t have faith in the Lord that He is able to save them from whatever harm they encounter with Jesus in their journey. They are actually afraid of drowning that they thought would lead them to death. On the other hand, after the incident, they were afraid to the point of questioning who that powerful man who is able to calm and command nature. It maybe reffered to their spiritual faith and gain the knowledge that He was indeed the powerful God to be worshipped.

In what way is Jesus still with us always? How can we be assured of Hi s presence?
Looking at our lives day by day with the presence of the gifts of life and daily provisions from the Lord, such things are just some of the many ways where we can say God is with us and that we are assured of His presence.
