May 09, 2007 My Brief Summary of Jesus Jesus Christ was and is the Son of God who came to save us from the sin which mankid was pluged into after the sin of our first parents Adam and Eve. Jesus also came to show the way and an example of how to live by embracing faith as the center of our salvation-That is why we say he showed us how to cayy the cross. Every daily life Jesus was demonstrating to us mainly on two issues;one how to related with our father , and two how to relate with our fellow mankind.His teachings were all centered on these two factors which forms our very basis of our faith. Jesus was very much aware of the evil one-satan-Jesus was tempted and he new mankinds fulnerability in the presence of satan.And so He showed us the way of rejecting satan with all his enticements and temptations. Having lived in this world Jesus knew the main occupation of Mankinds mind is the acquisition of material wealth.Jesus showed us that material thing is not everything-That is why He emphasised on seeking the heavenly kingdom, and other things later.Through this He made it clear that all that we seek can be provided by Our heavenly father if only we belief , let God take control of our lives and needs and ask beliefing He Knows our needs even before we ask. Jesus knew that Mankind is made filthy by eveils like jealous, hatred, greedy, stealing, and bodly desires.Thats why He empahasised on leaving a humble life and full depedence on God as the Controller of our lives as the key to salvation-amen.

May 04, 2007 Why does Jesus call Love One Another a New commandment? Jesus calls this a new commandment because when he came he had to change the old way of relationships which could have been based on pay back of what people get from others.Jesus wanted to show that He had brought a new commandment based on Love nom matter whether we are benefiting from a relationship or not. Love is the very asis that Jesus mission to the world was based upon.The very torturing experiences He went through can only be withstood out of love.By suffering like this Jesus showed a new way of loving and relating to one another. God is Love and so is His Son Jesus Christ.It is because of the Love God had for the world that He send His son to die and redeem us.It is only through pure love thta one can sacrifice His child and that is what God did.Jesus wanted to show the world a new meaning of man`s relationship with God -a rellationship bound by love-the love without bounders-the love which is not based on materal things. This new commandment was to be for the sustainability of Jesus work in this World.If we love God with all our hearts , souls nad mind we will not sin and if we sin we will realise and repent.If we love other people we will do good to them and establish a good relationship with them and by so doing we will be Loving God and Establishing a lasting relationship with Him. Jsesus came and lived in the world and He understood the socail problems that man faced -hatred, jelouse, material desire, and many others.Jesus knew that in pursuit of these wordly material man is likely to love materail things than God and more so hurt his feloww men more. The new law of Love was a Bencmark Jesus was establisng for christians.A benchmark which can be achieved by everyone wther rich or poor.Love is priceless and all can afford it whether rich or poor.Jesus wanted this to be the sign of christianity-it was to be the workdly sign of Chistianinty which would diffrenciate Christians from non Christians-by loving all regardless of their origin, faith skin color etc. Love was and is the simple or bantch of chsitianity.It is the ID CARD FOR CHRISTIANS WHICH DOES NOT REQUIRE SCREENING TO GET-IT IS STRAIGHT FROM OUR HEARTS-HEARTS ARE A COMMON ATTRIBUTE FROM EACH OF US;LET LOVE PREVAIL IN THE WORLD-AMEN

April 28, 2007 The Kingdom of God I think the Kingdom of God is achieved when we repent and lead a Jesus Hrist centered way of life;that is by forsaking sin and all negative deeds, by loving God with all our Hearts, soul and mind and loving our neighbours and treating them as we would wish to be treated. It is a state of being in Harmony with Our Creator and our Neighbours.It is a situation which prompts us to care about the well being of othrs and to unselfishly serve them-that is carry our cross, be like Simon and help others carry the demonstrate Veronicas attitude to proclaim Jesus name regardless of the consquencies.It is a situation of joy no maater what problems or difficult situations we are in knowing that God knows our desires and He will provide for our needs-Amen
