God`s mercy is beyond words... www.jesuscentral.com/16230
June 03, 2007 Why did Jesus? penalty for sin need to include physical and emotional pain - why not just spiritual separation from God?Because Go has such a hatred for sin, that it must be punished. And this was shown on the cross how holy our Holy Father is in that nothing of sin can come near Him. There also had to be blooshed because in Hebrews it says Wtihout the shedding of blood, there is no forgive ness. It also says in Leviticus that The life is in the blood. |

May 17, 2007 Why did Jesus? penalty for sin need to include physical and emotional pain - why not just spiritual separation from God?I think someone else said it in a nutshell, the wages of sin is death. If He, paying for our sin, just was seperated from God then that might not have satisfied God`s demand for justice. Also, think about how in the OT how God deals with sin. He absolutely cannot stand it, and this shows His hatred for sin that He would be willing to put His son, Jesus Christ, through this so that we may have life. That is the only thing that could make us right with God. |

One thing I have not been doing recently is to keep a kingdom-centered focus. God just hit me about that. We need to keep our focus on the fact that it is NOT about us, but COMPLETELY about JESUS CHRIST and about THE FATHER. That is something that is SO easy to lose track of; especially when the worries of everyday life come at you ''school, work, family''. We have to keep that kingdom focus. |

April 23, 2007 To be loved by God means to have accepted His son`s sacrifice on the cross. It goes beyond that though. It also means living a Godly life and obeying what Jesus taught us to do. And granted that we do not do that perfectly, we never will as long we are i |
