December 13, 2007 Why did Jesus notice the widow's gift and tell his disciples?
The widow gave her enire life, signifying total commitment, trust and faith in God. It shows a practical demostration of the widow's faith in God's ability to always meet her needs. it also shows the understanding of Jesus teaching that we should put our trust in God and that there is more blessing in giving than in receiving.
