April 20, 2007 Does Jesus believe lowly people are valuable? How valuable? I believe that Jesus values all people. He died for all of us. We are all sinners. Those who seek him rich or poor will find him. However, those who seem to have more may not seek him for they have put more value in their money and power. You ask how valuable " He gave his life for us....he gives us everything.

April 18, 2007 What did you learn about Jesus` background that stands out or surprises you? I am actually surprised to learn that they practiced one of the first one country, two systems policies, pronouncing that all people had religious freedom, political freedom, and freedom of thought, yet maintaining strict control. I found this to be very intresting.

April 18, 2007 Define Compassion? Compassion to me is the ability to put myself in someone else`s shoes and feel their pain, to have sympathy for them or their circumstances, to be moved by someone's situation and offer assistance. I am touched by the compassion Jesus has for others. Jesus was perfect with out sin and yet he cared and loved those that society had cast aside. I often wonder how many times we have been given the opportunity to help someone or make a difference in someone's life and we ignore it or choose not to help because we think that they are unworthy or they got themselves into this mess let them get themselves out. Hmmm, I wonder, what would Jesus think"
