Lessons on segregation
It is amazing that the society existed in was strongly divided in classes ready to even kill as the case was in Jesus` killing. There was a strong division of the Jews and `others`. I think this was and still is sad since we still see it in the world today. However, the beauty is the lessons Jesus gave us with the way he embraced members of his society regardless of their social, racial or historical standing. God loves all and therefore even we all ought to love and appreciate one another and see God`s love in each one of us.

Which of these purposes do you believe Jesus accomplished?
I believe Jesus accomplished all the things he came for.He did show us God`s love through his works, deeds and concern for the human lot.He brought good news by opening our lives and eyes to the kingdom of God and all the plans He has had for us since creation.As for sacrifice, it can`t be disputed that there are very few people that can put their heads and lives on the board for a chop the way Jesus did.By faith, we are to believe that God is the source of all life and eternal life is granted to those that believe Jesus dide and rose to give us that life.By his explanations and lessons, He strove to make us understand the kingdom of God.It can therefore be seen that indeed Jesus did achieve what He came for.

Why does Jesus call Love One Another a New commandment?
Maybe because the focus in the days before his coming were more centred on obedience of the law in isolation without much focus on the aspect of human relations and the role of love. So it was new in that now the focus was to be on the meaning and importance of love as we strive to know God.
