Why did Jesus? penalty for sin need to include physical and emotional pain - why not just spiritual separation from God?
It had to cause Jesus some pain beause he loves his people and he would do anything for us. Even if it meant to have pain bestow upon him. God wanted us to see what pain really is and not separation from the father!! God wanted us to learn the hard way by seeing his only son suffer so we can understand why he did it.

Which of these purposes do you believe Jesus accomplished?
I think Jesus accomplished all of them, because in the bible it tells us that he did all these things and one day he will come back to this earth and judge us for what we did.

If you had a one-on-one meal with Jesus, what would you discuss?
I would ask Jesus many questions of the bible and ask him about his life and see how its different from mine. I would also ask Jesus how can God change the world and how we can make more people love Jesus and get to know him better. I want people to know that God is the only one who can save them if they just believe and start going to a church they can trust.

According to Jesus, what does it mean to be loved by God?
It means to be loved by God that he cares for you and wants to help you through your time of need.
