Jesus did not want to do miracles outside of Israel, yet the woman`s faith and persistence led to healing. What do you learn from this?
Sometime in life we know what we have to do. the answers sometimes appear simple and straight forward and we can sense the happiness if we take the simple way.....however what have we to learn from the simple way" Where is the learning experience....where are the challenges that teach us lifes important lessons" It is always when we are at our lowest that we experience the wisdom and the power of God...the times when we need him most. The times when we are trying desperately to reach the heart and minds of others because we know deep in our hearts that if they will just take a minute to let us in we can help them in whatever small way...maybe by just listening to them that we can make a difference. It is at these moments that we have to keep up the fight....and keep our faith and persistence because we know that it can lead to healing....healing of mind, body and soul....not just ours but that of our fellow brothers and sisters who are trying to reachout but don't know how. These are the moments we have to draw our strengh from Jesus who strenghens us because sometimes the journey is so tough that we tend to lose our will to go on. We have to keep our eyes on our goal....giving up means we have failed. Trying with all we have like the woman in the gospel through her faith and persistence was able to get Jesus to perform the miracle outside of Isreal which lead to her daughters healing. What would be the outcome if she had just given up""""Failure.......My brothers and sisters let us look at this bible study group not just as a place to answer question but to take its meaning into our everyday life because there are million out there who need us....need our prayers....who need a listening ear....just need to know that someone cares. They may seem happy and achieving great things in life but deep inside there is an emptiness...a yearning...a longing for someone to reach out. don't give up the fight...take some time...talk to others you might be surprise what you learn and how the will of God will move in you to help bring healing to others. It could be a brother, sister mother, father, friend, stranger, just try to reach out to someone and you will be surprise what u can do in the lives of others. We can do all things through God who strenghens us. Let us not be quick to judge....but intead try to take a minute to put ourselves in thier shoes. We will be surprised how much we can learn.

Why did the high priest view it as blasphemy when Jesus acknowledged that he was the Christ, the Son of God?
The high priest view it as blasphemy when Jesus acknowledged that he was the Christ, the son of God firstly becasue they did not believe in him and secondly they wanted evidence against him so he would be worthy of death because they could find no fault with him..Hence the reason the high priest tore his clothing, saying, He has spoken blasphemy! Why do we need any more witnesses" Behold, now you have heard his blasphemy. What do you think" They answered, He is worthy of death! Then they spit in his face and beat him with their fists, and some slapped him, saying, Prophesy to us, you Christ! Who hit you"

Why did Judas betray Jesus with a kiss?
I think Judas used a kiss to disguise what his true motive was. A kiss symbolises love and he figured that no one would realise that he was the betrayer if he simply kissed Jesus. He thought that only the ones who knew of his wicked plan would understand that this was no genuine kiss.He did not realise that Jesus was fully aware of what he was up to.That is why after the kiss Jesus said to him Friend why are you here" because Jesus knew he did not kiss him because he loved him but to fulfil his evil plan.

What lesson do you think Jesus taught the disciples by cursing the fig tree?
The fig tree is compared to us. It has all the qualities to produce good fruit but is still there useless as ever.....what better thing to do than let it wither because it is useless.Same as us...we claim we have faith but we do not let it manifest itself in our hearts...instead we doubt. what good are we then" Like the fig tree Jesus becomes very disappointed in us because we are not producing any fruits.

Why did Jesus choose to make His entry to Jerusalem in a humble manner, riding a donkey?
I think that is what Jesus was about....he was humble, yet full of greatness that is why his message is so impactful in the minds and hearts of all. He was anything he wanted to be but he chose to be humble and that speaks volumes.
