Why did Jesus? penalty for sin need to include physical and emotional pain - why not just spiritual separation from God?
Jesus had to suffer and go through all that pain to make us realize what He went through for our sins. The pain that He suffers, I don`t think we`ll ever really know what He really went through, to save our lives

Why does Jesus call Love One Another a New commandment?
Because He wants us to love one another, so that we can be one. He said: Love you neighbour as yourself just as I love you. Jesus wants to show us how important it is to LOVE one another. He`s actually telling us , that if we don`t have love, we cannot have Jesus in our lives.

It makes one feel so loved. For He so loved the world, that He died for our sins. Just the thought of John 3:16 make you feel loved

How does being forgiven increase ones love for God? Note: According to Jesus, God`s forgiveness is motivated by love.
If you ask God for forgiveness, you can be sure that you;ll feel even mnore closer to God. the more you speak to Gd the more you feel his love. Because of His love for us, He died on the cross for our sins.
