May 05, 2007 1 Corinthians 13 - One chapter from Scripture about love 1If I speak in the tongues[a] of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. 2If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. 3If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames, [b] but have not love, I gain nothing. 4Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. 8Love never fails. May 03, 2007 Does Jesus arise to heaven been recorded in historical documentary This is a great question. I`m not sure if it is included in historical documents from that time period apart from Scripture. But the calendar dating system changed for a current date system by a large portion of the world. The B.C. - Before Christ, and the B.C.E. - Before Common Era - indicate that a significate event took place. --- The following is from Acts 1:9-11 --- After he said this, he was taken up before their very eyes, and a cloud hid him from their sight. They were looking intently up into the sky as he was going, when suddenly two men dressed in white stood beside them. Men of Galilee, they said, why do you stand here looking into the sky" This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven.
