Why did Jesus? penalty for sin need to include physical and emotional pain - why not just spiritual separation from God?
Jesus penalty for sin include physical and emotional pain so that man will truly understand the burden he bore for our sake. If it had been only spiritual, there is no how man will know that he suffered for us because Christ was the only one that saw the separation from God and then cried out, My God, my God, why have you forsaken me" and yet men around there were mocking him when he cried out.

If you had a one-on-one meal with Jesus, what would you discuss?
If I had a one-on-one meal with Jesus I would ask Him to recreate me and give me a new heart to enable me be like Him. I would ask Him to bless me and give me enough wisdom to carry on with my daily life. I would ask Him to give me the grace to help the poor and the needy in my society and the world at large in order to make them realise that God is love and that He loves them so much. I would also ask Him to fill me with the Holy Spirit and never let me go astray. In fact I will ask Him to take me along with Him to heaven.

Why does Jesus call Love One Another a New commandment?
Jesus call Love one another a new commandment because of the gravity of hatred on earth. In the Bible, God said we should love the Lord our God with all our heart, soul and mind and also to love our neighbours as ourselves yet, people hate one another to the extend of killing one another. He knows that it is difficult for people to love others as themselves that is why He call Love one Another a new commandment in order to remind us that we can do so by the Grace of God and by so doing, the world will know that we are His disciples thereby, giving the world the lead on love, which is the greatest commandment of God.
