April 09, 2007 If the veil split and skies darkened and earth quaked, what might have been the reaction of the people and priests? Some may have realized that Jesus was who He said He was-son of God. Those whose hearts were hardened-high priests-may still believe that Jesus was the bad guy and they were in the right to put him to death.
