How does Jesus link intimacy to him with obedience to him? a New commandment?
He is our example He was and He is faithful ;by doing his will we are faithful to him, if we say we love Him we keep his commandments.

If you had a one-on-one meal with Jesus, what would you discuss?
to show me how to be stronger , to increase my faith ;that i want to serv him more and more every day , that im tring my best and that i love him.
