Jesus knew he would be killed in Jerusalem, and still he led the way. What characteristics does Jesus demonstrate here?
Obedience; he knew his purpose here and it was to die for the sins of the world. And he led the way to complete his purpose.

Jesus asked the blind man what they wanted Him to do. What do you want Jesus to do for you?

I want Jesus to give me his wisdom, I want to be able to see the world the way he sees it and love everyone the way he does.

I pray for good health.

Why did Jesus´ penalty for "sin" need to include physical and emotional pain - why not just spiritual separation from God?

We feel pain in many ways, physical, emotional and even spiritual at times. In order for jesus to relate to us, he had to feel what we feel. Jesus felt everything we feel, saddness( when laz died, he cried for him), happiness( when he preached and was among friends he was happy), even spiritual pain ( take this cup from me father, he told God as he knew he was about to die). Jesus felt so much, so he knows what we feel and he understands it. The connection we have with God is closer than we all think.

What did Judas gain by betraying Jesus?
Judas gained nothing.... just death. and by betraying Jesus he lost life in heaven. His actions cost him his salvation and no amount of money is worth that.

What made Peter so afraid to be identified with Jesus? Why are many people today still afraid to identify with Jesus?
Peter was scared because he saw what was happening to Jesus and didn't want to same fate. I don't think him denying jesus meant that he loved him or believed in him any less, at the time he had a fear, he saw the one who is the savior being hit and beaten, but was remined of God's powers when the rooster crowed. Jesus told him this would happen. People today are scared to say that they are Christains, for many reasons, and those reasons depend on the place one lives in, the culture one is around. In some countries, if you are Christian you could be killed and to avoid death they believe in Jesus in silent, to save their lives. Jesus still loves these people even though they might not be able to shout their love for him, he know their hearts.
