Why did Jesus? penalty for sin need to include physical and emotional pain - why not just spiritual separation from God?
I think Jesus penalty had to include these two aspects of human life because these are the ways we learn more than being taught. A slap on the hands for a child, being spanked or being put into jail as a adult. Humans learn by the pain we suffer Som eof us do but some are smarter. I have a PHD in the HARD KNOCKS University. We are all told what will happen when we do thingsd but we must push our limits and gain knowledge from the pain of learning. Not all choose this path but I like , most have and do not wish my children to take this route but know they too have the same desires and will learn valuable lessons from the pain and disappointment from life. In life we learn most from the losing not the winning. If you can learn from these you can be a better person. Much love Jennifer

Why does Jesus call Love One Another a New commandment?
He calls us to LOVE one another as Christ first lived us the church. IF we HUmans can take our eyes off the entrapments of this world and focus on the needs and feelings of others we will be a society of caring people. This is why we are called Benefits We shar and care for each other in a harmonous relationship. We grow in our love for each other so murder and hurting each other would be very hard to do...... Imagine hurting ie stealing car jacking theft, '' a member of your family" Which is essentially what we are doing but the world ''SATAN''has turned this so far from what GOD intended. When we can stop and see every person as a brother or a sister this is I think GOD intended for us to see.

How does being forgiven increase ones love for God? Note: According to Jesus, God`s forgiveness is motivated by love.
That while I was yet a sinner he died for me. even though I continue to stumble He is there waiting with open arms to hold me when I fall. he is also there to defend me from the darkness...HE is very strong and has won that BATTLE. I stand in awe of the LOVE he has and how he continues to bless me everyday.

What does it mean to be loved by GOD
I dont think we as humans possess the ability to truly understand what it means to be loved by GOD. We sing songs about what it cost to see my sin upon that cross. BUT very few of us truly know. and I dont think on this side of heaven we can. BECAUSE if we did then the world as we know it would end. We chase after the WHEN. When I get this or that I will be happyor ready or whatever you fill in the blank. The world depends on the consumer. Our minds are filled with images daily about what we should wear or drive or eat or now even medications. If we took our power as consumers and focused this on being CHRIST to the world. It would truly be a better place. I pray that each of us in this class develope a heart that yearns for this simple life of AGAPE love.

Define Compassion?
a feeling of deep sympathy and sorrow for another who is stricken by misfortune, accompanied by a strong desire to alleviate the suffering. Websters.com A feeling of deep sympathy and sorrow for another show is stricken by misfortuneSTOP right there that is empathy but if you continue a strong desire to alleviate the suffering is compassion. Most of us watch events on TV or read about them and feel empathy or even sympathy of we our selves have experienced the same misfortune. BUT to take it to the next level and ACT.. WOW, JESUS was all about the last part Alleviating the suffering He had been watching from Heaven and finally his compassion over came him and he came to earth leaving Heaven to be crucified for ME US YOU.
