Why didn`t the elders want the true story of Jesus` resurrection to get out?

Because they did not admit and did not want his people to admit that Jesus is the Son of God.

Why is the Resurrection of Jesus a source of hope for people, even today?

Because Jesus carried away our sins at the cross and by baptism we buried with Jesus our sins and raised with him as a newborn at resurrection.

Why did the Pharisees call Jesus a "deceiver"?

Because they did not believe that Jesus is the Son of God and will raised at the third day. They afraid he might escape.
