The way that things transpired in the year of our lord , are some what still going on. You have many people that still don't believe in God, why I don't  know. The God that walk the earth 2000 years ago performing mircales is still perfoming mircales. Just as back then people did not want to believe so they don't want others to believe, so that's why they take prayer out of schools and want to take God out of the pleadge of alegence. They also try to question well if there is a God why do he allow bad things to happen , I personally think that he let it happen just because it's just in his plan.
