What do you think might have led Joseph of Arimathaea to be a disciple of Jesus?

The power of the Holy Spirit drew Joseph of Arimathaea to all truth in Christ and in the teachings of Christ.  In this he became a disiciple, the power always of the message.

Why did the Pharisees call Jesus a "deceiver"?
The Pharisees were a target many times of Christ's teachings, while in every way the strictly observed the law and were generous in their giving, while they were great evangelizers of their faith, they were full of pride.  Their works and labors were paled in light of the condition of their prideful self righteous hearts and so they they worked at many ways to discredit Christ to the people that believed or longed to believe Jesus was the who He said He was, the Son of God and the long awaited Messiah.

What about Jesus` death impressed the Centurian so much that He realized Jesus was the Son of God?

The centurion was a witness to all that had happened and the humility that He suffered and the forgiveness He prayed for His persecutors were all a testimony; the equake and storm  upon His death brougth the fearful centurion to believe that He was truly the Son of God.

Why did those who passed by mock Jesus?
With Michael, I would have to agree, as He would not accomdate signs and proof they would mocked Him and some even hated Him for saying He was the Son of God.

They thought him a crazy man.
