THE GOOD NEWS OF GOD IS ,

SALVATION FOR ALL NOT JUST THE JEWISH NATION ,BUT EVEN THE GENTILES ,MALE AND FEMALE SLAVE AND FREE.FREEDOM FROM THE REPETIVE SINS THAT CONSUME OUR TIME AND RESOURCES WITHOUT EVEN SATISFYING WHAT WE NEED.SATISFYING OUR HEARTS DESIRE.DESIRING THE THINGS THAT BRING JOY   AND LOVE AND BEAR MORE GOOD NEWS..WE ARE FREE TO LOVE THE LORD AND KNOW HIS GOODNESS AND LOVE BECAUSE HE DIED IN OUR PLACE AND MAKE A WAY FOR US TO KNOW THE TRUTH AND FIND THE PEACE ONLY FOUND IN THE LOVE OF GOD....TOO MUCH TO WRITE ....,JESUS, IS THE GOOD NEWS AND I THINK HE IS UNCONTAINABLE AND AWESOME ,WONDERFUL AND BETTER THAN CHOCOLATE

If Johns baptism was for repentance ,then why do you think Jesus was baptized?

Jesus stated it was to fufill righteousness. When Jesus was baptised it is the frist time you Hear the Father ,speaking ,the Holy Spirit ,descending like a dove ,and Jesus in the water.

Represents all who would follow Jesus in His example to us to Receive baptism of repentance and of the Holy Spirit. It clearly shows  us that His willingness to do this pleased the Father.
