How do Jesus` words make you feel? You may want to save your answer as "Private"

I have found this to be very true and very powerful in my life. When I spend time thinking about how God loves me, my heart is defintiely filled with love for Him! psalm 48:9

I think the translation of the NIV in Luke 7:47 could be better. The comparison that Jesus is making requires the phrase, "for she loved much" to be "therefore she loved much". He is saying that she loved much because she was forgiven much, not that she was forgiven much becasue she loved much.

How does being forgiven increase ones love for God? Note: According to Jesus, God`s forgiveness is motivated by love.
Being forgiven causes me to love God more if I understand what he has done for me as the debtor and the sinful woman understood. Both of them, like me, could do nothing to help themselves. When someone rescues you from a hopeless situation, your heart naturally is filled with love for them! "We love because he first loved us." 1st John 4:19.

According to Jesus, what does it mean to be loved by God?
In John 3:16, the word translated "so" does not speak of quantity of love but of quality. The special quality of God's love was that He gave His only begotten Son... This tells us that God's love is unconditional and willing to love us even when it is very costly. Because God's loves us, He was willing to give His most valuable asset, His Son, because Jesus taking our place and paying for our sin was our only hope.
