If John's baptism was for repentance, then why do you think Jesus was baptized?

We are not being baptized to repent from our sins but because we have already repented from our sins. We are already forgiven and our guilt has been washed away by the blood of Christ. We undergo water baptism because our conscience is clear…so there’s nothing wrong when John baptized Jesus. Jesus has all the reason of good and clear conscience…

Jesus’ water baptism was not to convey that He sinned and that He repented. The reason is of twofold:

  • He foretold what would to come…. His death and resurrection, that He would conquer death …. Thank God He did…!
  • He set us an example. That as true Christians we must undergo water baptism. By doing this we are making public confession that we are making full commitment to Him in obedience. Also in water baptism we are identifying ourselves with Him that once we were dead because of our sins but now resurrected by the power of His blood that shed in Calvary.

If I were Mark making a short report, what would I include to demonstatrate that Jesus (a Jewish man) was "the Son of God"?

JESUS was and is truly "the Son of God"

The identitty of Jesus as "the Son of God" was proven by the dependable witnesses. Most of which was the FATHER and the Holy Spirit when in the baptism of Jesus by John the Baptist, the spirit in the form of a dove desended to Him and the Father said, "This is my beloved Son". Another one is John the Baptist when he magnifies Him. John the Baptist was recognized by Jesus as the greatest of the prophets.

Jesus Power and Authority also demonstrates His identity as 'the Son of God". He came to earth as a Servant . But being a Servant denies the true nature of a servant. A servant is under authority amd takes orders but JESUS exercises authority and give orders - even to demons - and His orders are obeyed.

Jesus has authority over temptation. He was tempted for forty days in the wilderness but He succeded victoriously. To remind us of Israel dwelling in the wilderness for forty years and when they are tested they failed. So with Adam who was tempted in the beautiful garden of Eden and failed while JESUS was tested in a dangerous wilderness with the wild beasts and WON the victory. - This is restoration of the dominion mankind lost when Adam failed....

Authority is also manifested in JESUS' preaching. The scribes spoke from authority but Jesus spoke with auhority. He was able to call man from their regular occupations and make them His disciples.

Authority is also demonstrated in His command. Just imagine a man being in the midst of a comgregatiion without being rcognized that he is demonized! It took the presence of JESUS to expose the demon. And He did not only exposed the demon but drove him out from the man. The demon submit to the authority of the SERVANT.

JESUS being a SERVANT has POWER and AUTHORITY

Indeed, JESUS was and is "the Son of God".......

What does it mean to be loved by God?
To be loved by God is loving Jesus Christ. This is just the reciprocal action from us. God loved us first. He demonstrated his awesome love toward us when He sent His only begotten Son to die in our place. Accepting Jesus Christ is accepting the love that God is proposing to mankind. No doubt God loves all men but that tremendous love of God being offered to us can only work in us and can only be experienced if we accept that love - thus accepting Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior --- and the promise of that love is GOD WILL GONNA BE ALWAYS WITH US
