Today we had a family reunion, well guess not really a reunion as such as some of us have been together or at least, those who live in America , but yet we had 'new found family' from Italy! Now my cousin with a friend, did much investigation, and and found cousins that we knew existed, but yet never met. Our grandfather never really said much about them. Well what a group of over 100! So much food. My cousin bought all the Steak and Potatoes.

Well it made me really think how transportation and internet and the ability to search through archives and genoloigical files and to find family all over this world. You know we are ALL family.

 Yet we have such wars, right now with Iraq and Iran, and now Russia nad Georgia and the US is involved to a degree ( will not get into that) but why do we not "get it"' Why can we not see that we have probably killed our own family members as people did not always talk so readily about family years ago and we could not reconnect . If only we can think back to Adam and Eve and how life began.

Can we love each other," We could but will we" Probably not. The Lord said we would have war. We have sons of Jacob and sons of Esau fighting even now. Just like Cain and Abel. The lesson is never learned.  

How joyful it would be if we could maybe have troubles but join together with compromise in the name of 'family' 

Well, I guess how can we expect the world at large to get together when we are not able to not fight with our own small families and ties we have around us"

The joy and love we all had today as we reunited or united for the first time was how we should all be meeting every day of our life! To think my cousin made this all work, he is going to be in Heaven one day, as he is trying to be a good Christian man. He is a politican ( Small town Mayor sort) but he runs to keep physically fit, and now flies to other countries and researches to bring 'families" together! How wonderful! If only we had more like him!

Can we all try to be some like this and look at all we meet as a brother or sister, as in the distance somehow they may very well be your own family member!

" Genesis 3:6 " When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good food pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it. She also gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it."

First came the 'thought" Of course she had some help of a friend ( Satan) of course. Lucifer the most brillent angel , knw what he was doing to Eve and also to Adam. He knew taht to make the thought that god was not telling them the truth and not letting them know all that was to be known and things could be much better by disobeying, and then he coujld get them to lose the eteranl life they had been promised. He knew they w ould loose 'paradise" and all the blessings and peace tht it would bring.

Today we still suffer from a 'generational  curse', as to this evil that was wrought, but with one exception we will have eternal life if we have faith in Christ! Nothing too hard. Just like not eating of that tree, should have not been hard. But once someone places doubts into your mind, and makes you think you must do much more, to get this life, then to just have faith in Christ, then this is when you will begin to slip from faith. You will never be able to earn this wonderful blessing, but only to have faith and this should come naturally as it is your Dad we are talking about here.

If you  have not found this love and faith in Jesus, I ask you now to say a prayer and ask Jesus to come into your life, and forgive you of all sins you have ever had in your life, and that you are truly sorry, and wil try to live a life that your Father wil be prouod of knowing you are his child, and you would like to please your Dad, but knowing that you could never be "perfect" Guess what" Your Father knows this too! Do your best and do not ''intentionally' do things that will be against his word the bible. Read it and try to see it as His' love letter' to you as it is .. It is a map helping you along the way.

If you have  already found Jesus as your Savior, Great! But just try to not forget him , and do not think that just once a week is enough to take time out for a Father who truly loves you more then anyone ever could. He created you and He knows you better then you know yourself.

Turn to him now if you have not , and know He loves you just like you are! 

I just came from seeing the Icon that streams Myrrh, from a Russian Orthodox Monastery and must say it was "Awesome!" The myrrh is sweeter then any of the myrrh I have ever purchased and I love oils, so have purchase many. This was so very sweet smelling that it was overwhelming as when near it, you could smell it very disctincly. It seemed to have a plastic vial in it holding it. Then the Priest annoints your forehead with the oil, with an annointing brush.( Like a small thin paint brush) I can still smell it as do not want to take it off, as I am waiting for a miracle! Did not see a miracle, but you never know it may happen yet, as it cold take time to absorb into the skin.( My hyposthesis anyway)

Now I just do not know how, why, and this is hard for a person like me who has this analytical mind. All I know is it is authenic as far as I can see.

We cannot deny God when we just see things as such that are miraculous!

We are made in the image of God! How could we be worthless if God made us" Can we say our Lord lies when he himself thinks enough of us to die for us, and rise from death to give us freedom from the sin committed by Eve" We have all sinned but if we ask forgiveness he will forgive us, but we must forgive ourselves.. We do not have a right to say that Jesus is wrong. He wants us to have eternal life with him!

We must get  ourselves out of the way long enough, to remember who made us and why, and know that it is very true, we are in his image, we just must learn how to become his 'likeness.' 

Even the woman caught in adultry, was told to 'go and sin no more' and no one could condemn her and she knew better then to spend her life condemning herself.. She went out and spread the word about Jesus with Joy!

We also need to remember we are in His image, and created by Him, and spread the word to the world with joy in our hearts, knowing one day we will be with him as he intended and see him 'face to face'!!
