Jesus said it is very difficult for rich people to enter the Kingdom of God, not impossible but very difficult.
It seems to me that good news has to be good and news. It is good and new that the Kingdom of God is accessable to the poor and childlike, the humble and the lowley. It seems good and new to me that the Kingdom of God is not entered by careful obserbations or to put it another way, tight religioius activity. It seems good and news to me that the Kingdom of God is near everyone all the time. It seems good to me that prostitutes are entering it ahead of the chief religious guy and his council.
