November 23, 2007 According to Jesus, what does it mean to be loved by God?
To be loved by God is to be in his favor. He does not hate us or even think of us spitefully though we are sinners. And He wanted to restore our relationship with Him. He sent His Son, the Lord Jesus to die in our place as sin-offering. He now calls all people everywhere to ask for forgivesness by trusting in His death and resurrection. He forgives our sins, and adopts us as His children. He seals the relationship by giving us His Spirit. To be loved by God is the greatest thing we could enjoy.
