I'm not sure what to write here. I grew up in one of the main line churches reading the King James Bible. I always felt "Why go to church". In my church Christianity seemed dead. I had a friend ask me to go to a mid week Bible Study at his church on Bible Prophecy. I jumped at the chance. The service started before the Bible Study. I looked at these worshippers as they gave song and praise to Jesus. Wow look at this. This is like I read in the Bible. This is what I have been missing... a Jesus who is alive and people love Him! I went back to my Pastor and asked him many questions over the following weeks... and the elders of the church too. I couldn't even get satisfactory answers to my questions! I had known and attended church there for over 10 years. Finally weeks later my Pastor asked me to leave the church before I caused a split in the church... I was surprised but it was the best thing that ever happened to me. I joined the Bible Study church and my faith grew at light speed. I have gone thru many trials and tribulations over the years. Some times I have left the fold to do my own thing... but Jesus always puts a call in my heart and I return with a vengence... loving Him even more than before. Thank God He forgives my sin and transgressions when I pray. If Jesus isn't your best friend, you have a lot of work to do. You have to spend time reading His word and talking to Him just like when your making a new friend. Make Him your friend and Saviour. You better get started now because time is short before His return. As I pray and worship Him my spirit jumps high and the love I feel is beyond words. Oh Jesus... thank you for loving mankind enough that you were willing to give your life that we may live forever. I love you and praise you... and as our Father said about Himself "I AM that I AM". There is no other Gods. Thank You. Eric
I would enjoy meeting new Christian friends. eelfranz1@msn.com
