September 28, 2011 How does Simon Peter feel about himself, and how does Jesus change that?
Simon saw himself as a sinnner, but as he acknowledge his sinful state, Jesus changed him and comissioned him as a soul winner. Likewise if we acknowledge our sin Jesus is faithful, He will forgive us and accept us into His Kingdom.

September 05, 2011 Why is it signficant that Jesus fulfilled what was predicted hundreds of years before? Note: Mark refers to the old Scriptures from the Prophet Isaiah (chapter 53) "He poured out his soul unto death, And He was numbered with the transgressors, And he bore the sins of many." Isaiah 53 contains many more matches to events in Jesus` life.
It is significant because in fulfilling what was predicted, Jesus came to the world to save mankind from perdition.
