Why does Jesus speak so strongly against anger?

Anger is a sin.  If it is not supressed or controlled it can lead to violent actions like murder.  Other sins that can come as a  result anger are bitterness towards such a  person you angry at, it will also lead to unforgiveness.

How is Jesus coming into Galilee like light coming into a dark place? What is there about Jesus teaching that is like light?

Jesus is refered to as the word in John 1vs 1.  He was also the light that gives life to men John 1 vs 4.  He is the word and also the light. His teaching will shine light into the darkness John 1 vs 5.  Any one who has not accepted Jesus Christ who the Light is in total darkness.  But when Jesus comes in the darkness will vanish.  Therefore His coming to Galilee will bring light into Galilee.  They will enlightened spiritually.

Given the scandals associated with the women Tamar, Rahab, Ruth and the wife of Uriah (Bathsheba), why do you think they were mentioned in the geneology of Jesus?
This is to show that God is a merciful God.  Also, that is why He is God. His actions cannot be questioned.  He said He will have mercy on whom He will have mercy and He will have compassion on whom He will have compassion. Definitely, there is something that God sees in these people that made Him use them. This is a proof that if we make ourselves available for His use, no matter what we are, He will use us. Jesus said that if these people refuse to praise me I will raise up stones to do same. We just need to be praying for the mercy of God and make ourselves available for His use.
