| 8 of 10: My current level of knowledge about Jesus? | | | 9 of 10: My current level of respect/appreciation for Jesus? | | | I consider Jesus to be | | Son of God, | | | Jesus makes me feel | | Loving, Free, Forgiven, Purposeful, Peaceful, | | | Am I a follower of Jesus: Yes | | | What is my journey/story with Jesus? | | I really didn`t know that much about Jesus untill about 6 years ago. With me, like a lot of people it took me hitting bottom to begin my journey with Jesus. | | | How has Jesus helped me (with self, family, work)? | | Jesus has taken a hard heart and made it soft. Jesus has shown me what real love is and how to feel and experience it. Jesus has filled me with the desire to want to reach out and help people in need. | | | How has Jesus changed me? | | Jesus has completely changed my heart. Before I had Jesus in my life it was so hard (almost impossible) for me to tell someone that I truely cared for how I felt for them. I believed real men didnt cry or express deep feelings.
Jesus has changed all of that. Now I absolutley love to tell other people how much they mean to me and that I love them. I have experienced tears of sadness, regret, and joy. I have called family members on the phone and my only intention for calling them was to tell them I love them. I look at every from of live differently now. | | | How do I describe "A relationship with Jesus?" | | It is a relationship like no other. It is having someone there that completely understands the situation and what you are faced with and going through. It is having someone there 24/7 that will listen to whatever it is you have to say. It is a relationship of knowing you are never alone. My problem is that I will often lose site of this relationship as I go through my daily routine. To many times I forget that Jesus is always right there with me. | | | How have I experienced Jesus? | | I think when I see on tv or hear of someone hurting or in need I will pray for them without being ask by anyone to do so. When I am confronted with someone who has a need I want to reach out and help somehow. I think whenever all the wrong things going on in this world such as senseless destruction, hunger, suffering, war, etc, becomes not only a burden to you but it really hurts to see this all going on along with a strong desire to do something about it, you are in one way experiencing Jesus in your life.
I believe when you go out if your way to do someting nice for someone just to make them happy by doing something as simple as sending a card of just telling them you love them is another way of experiencing Jesus | |
