What is my journey/story with Jesus?

On a Lenten mission, He saved me. I had given up T.V. for 40 days of Lent. I had just gotten a stroke. I had nothing else to give up. Instead, I went to Mass everyday, sing songs of Worship, read my Bible and prayed a lot. In the middle of my mission, I started seeing visions. He introduced me to the Blessed Trinity. God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. This was the most awesome and thrilling vision I had ever had in my life. Praise be to God!

How has Jesus helped me (with self, family, work)?

Jesus changed my life completely from a party girl, heavy drinker to a life of prayer. My family have more faith in Him but still hold back a little. Well my work, I lost my job since I got the stroke. So I help my aunt and her family with home chores.

How has Jesus changed me?

Well, first of all, He changed my whole life from a sinner to one of faith. (He even sang to me by means of the Holy Spirit, the song that goes,Come back to me, with all your heart, don`t let fear keep us apart, trees do bend though straight and tall, so must you to others call. Long have I waited for your coming home to me and living deeply our new life.) Talk about heart wrenching. That did it.

How do I describe "A relationship with Jesus?"

A relationship with Jesus is constant prayers, chatting with Him, reading of the Bible and trying to love our God and one another.

How have I experienced Jesus?

I have experienced Jesus in my life through my visions, Holy Communion, my family members, friends, children and sometimes complete strangers. I felt His presence one day. Electrical shocks all over my body. This was truly amazing and breathtaking. When I asked Him a question, He answers me in the morning through a vision.

Why and how did I become a follower of Jesus?

I became a follower of Jesus after my lenten mission and visions. I could not resist Him.He showed me His face last Easter. His eyes were big, loving and sad. He smiled at me then showed me the state of my soul which was not good at all. Did you know that the state of a person`s soul changes from being you to a monster because of our sins? I went to confession on Divine Mercy Sunday which is the Sunday after Easter Sunday. For He made a promise to us by means of Sister Faustina, that whoever confessed their sins on this Sunday and take Holy Communion, He will forgive them completely of all their sins even forgotten ones. The very next day, He showed me the state of my soul, and it was all clear and beautiful again. Every day we sin through our thoughts, actions, the way we treat others, the things we say, disobeying the commandments. So we should try to cleanse our souls as much as possible through repentance and confession and daily Holy Communion. Jesus is great, we should all try Him. We would never regret it.

Why and how did I become a follower of Jesus?

With my whole lifetime experience and all that happened to me, I could not resist Jesus. He is good. He is great. He is loving and forgiving.
