2 Samuel 24:17 - And David spake unto the Lord when he saw the angel that smote the people, and said, Lo, I have sinned, and I have done wickedly: but these sheep, what have they done? let thine hand, I pray thee, be against me, and against my father`s house.

Lamentations 3:39,43 - Thou hast covered with anger, and persecuted us: thou hast slain, thou hast not pitied.

Micah 7:9 - I will bear the indignation of the Lord, because I have sinned against him, until he plead my cause, and execute judgment for me: he will bring me forth to the light, and I shall behold his righteousness.
