What behavior does Jesus model in advance of making a major decision?
jesus is teaching us to return to God and pray to God and ask him his will for us in all of our decisions.he is telling us we should trust him to ask his council in everything in our lives for God loves us and wants us to depend on him100%.and we should know that once we submit to his will we should be sure that he will do what is best for us and that we should accept it even if it doesnt suit our pourpose, because God knows what is good for us better than we do.and he always does what is best for us.we might be in a hurry to get what we want but God is never in a hurry as he is never late

The Twelve Apostles

It happened in these days, that he went out to the mountain to pray, and he continued all night in prayer to God. When it was day, he called his disciples, and from them he chose twelve, whom he also named apostles: Simon, whom he also named Peter; Andrew, his brother; James; John; Philip; Bartholomew; Matthew; Thomas; James, the son of Alphaeus; Simon, who was called the Zealot; Judas the son of James; and Judas Iscariot, who also became a traitor.
