I have always wondered - are the brothers and sisters referred to Jesus` cousins? Why did He not welcome His Mother, whom He loved and who went from place to place with Him?

How does Jesus define members of his spiritual family? Does this include you?
Members of Jesus` spiritual family are those who do the will of God. The will of God is that we accept and believe in the one and only son of God, whom he provided as an atonement for our sins, and as means of our reconcilliation to the father. To them He gave the right to be Children of God. In this category, I believe I am one member of this family. The only problem is that I sometimes find myself in a catch 22 situation, trying to pursue my own will. May God forbit that I should not befound unworthy to partake of his family by right.

In accordance with Mark 3 Vs 31-35 , Jesus define members of His spiritual family as those who does the will of God. In this case, those who accept and follow Jesus are given power to become the Children of God. '' John 1 Vs 12''. Siting around Jesus and doind nothing does not make any person to be a brother of Jesus. Let us do the will of God to preach the good news in order for us to be part of this important Spiritual Family. Iam happy to let you know that am include in Jesus`s spiritual family. He calls His family not those related through blood, but those who perform His will are God`s children too, that makes them family.I belong to His family too, since he gave the right to become His children to all who believe in Him.

I have come from a large family, and now live with my wife Susan, and my son Christopher.. I love knowing that Jesus also had a large family, and that He stood out on his own too. I am so pleased to know that God, Jesus and the Holy Trinity, and my mother and father, as well as St. Raphael and St. Gabriel. God bless all my friends and family, both local and extended, and I wish them all a good day!!! Amen! And we all hope for that beautiful day, when Jesus sounds the trumpets and brings al the souls of the earth together!!!

Good afternoon everybody! Everyone who is doing the will of God, those are the brothers, sisters and mothers of Jesus Christ! And yes i am trying to do the will of God as good as possible, i know that i am a sinner and a human being who makes mistakes!

God`s Family
Whosoever does the will of God is equally worth or valued by Christ as member of His spiritual family, and who are become one with him by the indwelling of his Spirit. Yes I am a member of God`s family because I receive Jesus as my Lord and Savior and I acknowledge all my sins before Him.

Jesus' Mother and Brothers

His mother and his brothers came, and standing outside, they sent to him, calling him. A multitude was sitting around him, and they told him, "Behold, your mother, your brothers, and your sisters are outside looking for you."
He answered them, "Who are my mother and my brothers?" Looking around at those who sat around him, he said, "Behold, my mother and my brothers! For whoever does the will of God, the same is my brother, and my sister, and mother."
