Why did the soldiers mock Jesus?
The soldiers mocked Jesus because they did not believe He was who He said He was. They did not think that Jesus really was the Son of God, so they made fun of His claim. They were mocking Him, because the Romans were not believers of Christ.

Why did the soldiers mock Jesus?
The soldiers mocked Jesus out of ignorance because they heard clearly that Jesus was the king of the Jews. They also wanted to know if Jesus could revenge or protect Himself as He ''Jesus'' claimed to king. The soldiers might be acting on oders from Roman empire as their custom was to mock and crucify anybody against their law.Once again, this was done so that Jesus make the job of salvation complete. JESUS IS THE MIGHT GOD as well as king of kings. Amen!!!!!!

Soldiers ''like sins'' were trained to kill. They don`t have respect for anybody even their father. So, they seen nothing wrong in making jester of Christ because they are working for the King of the world.

Soldier`s mock
To show us how we always like a soldier when we didn`t give our heart to the Lord, even now sometimes we do it again, by our evil think, evil speak and everything to humiliate God with our deed and our utterance.

Why did the soldiers mock Jesus?
the soldiers were as in gang violence, brutal, evil, cruel crowd, like a pack of wolves before a killing of helpless prey. The governor`s solders hated the Jews, so they were very cruel with the opportunity to mock the Jews and were especially evil with Jesus, the King of the Jews.

Why did the soldiers mock Jesus?
Because the soldiers heard that Jesus was the King of the Jews. They mocked him and hit him and put crown of thorns on his head with a scarlet robe. Even thou the soldiers were mean and beat him up and made fun of Jesus he asked his heavenly father to forgive them all. Praise the Lord! for his tender mercy.

The Soldiers Mock Jesus

Then the governor's soldiers took Jesus into the Praetorium, and gathered the whole garrison together against him. They stripped him, and put a scarlet robe on him. They braided a crown of thorns and put it on his head, and a reed in his right hand; and they kneeled down before him, and mocked him, saying, "Hail, King of the Jews!" They spat on him, and took the reed and struck him on the head. When they had mocked him, they took the robe off of him, and put his clothes on him, and led him away to crucify him.
